Privacy notice

How Trizz collects, uses and protects your personal data, and the rights you have under UK data protection law.

Last updated: 16 October 2026

Who we are

This website is run by Trizz Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company no. 16042906. Trizz Ltd is the controller of the personal data described in this notice, which means we decide how and why it is used.

If you have any questions about this notice or your data, email info@trizz.co.uk or call 07367 196665.

What we collect

  • Audit request and contact forms: your name, business name, website or Google Business Profile link, email address, town and, if you give it, your phone number, plus anything you choose to tell us.
  • Booking calendar: your name, email address, phone number, the time you book and any notes you add.
  • Phone calls and text messages: when you call or text our number, our phone system records your number, the date and time, and any text messages or voicemails you leave.
  • Email: your email address, name and the content of your messages to us.
  • Public business information: to prepare your free audit, we look at public information about your business, such as your Google Business Profile, reviews, listings and website.
  • Clients: if you become a client, the details we need to deliver the service and invoice you, including access to accounts you share with us.

How we use it, and our lawful bases

  • To answer your enquiry, prepare your audit and arrange your call. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (responding to a business that has asked us for information) or, where you have asked us to quote, steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
  • To deliver our services and manage your account. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
  • To send you follow-up and marketing emails or texts. Lawful basis: consent, where you tick the box on our forms, or legitimate interests for follow-up about an audit or service you asked for. Every message includes a simple way to opt out, and we stop as soon as you do.
  • To keep business and tax records. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

We do not sell your data, and we do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted suppliers (processors) who handle data on our behalf and only on our instructions:

  • HighLevel (LeadConnector): our CRM, phone, email, forms and booking calendar.
  • Cloudflare (via HighLevel): our audit form uses Cloudflare's bot check to block spam, which may process technical details such as your IP address and browser information.
  • SiteGround: website hosting.
  • Google: business tools we use to run Trizz and, for clients, the Google Ads and Google Business Profile accounts we manage for you.

Some of these suppliers may process data outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards required by UK law, such as the UK–US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

We may also share data where the law requires it, or with professional advisers such as our accountant.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and audit requests that don't lead to work: up to 12 months after our last contact with you.
  • Client records: for as long as we work together, then for six years after the end of the tax year in which our work ends, to meet accounting and tax requirements.
  • Marketing preferences: if you opt out, we keep a note of your opt-out so that we don't contact you again.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete
  • ask us to delete your data
  • ask us to restrict how we use your data
  • object to our use of your data, including for direct marketing
  • ask for your data in a portable format
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent

To use any of these rights, email info@trizz.co.uk. We will reply within one month. There is normally no charge.

Cookies

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Only strictly necessary cookies may be set, for example by our audit form (provided by HighLevel, with Cloudflare's bot check) so that it works properly and is protected from spam. If we add analytics in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.

How to complain

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first at info@trizz.co.uk and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.
